Well... Rereading last months newsletter was kind of a bummer, but hopefully still inspiring for y'all. And so I thought I would share some BIG CHANGES in my life.....Some EXCITING news..... And some fun videos.
Sooo after all of life's twists and turns from the last 5 years, my husband and I decided to make a big move. Neither of us were from Michigan (I'm a Jersey goil and hubby is from Kansas and Florida) and never saw ourselves settling there. And while Detroit is THE HIPPEST city on earth, we found our hearts in the blue grasses of Kentucky. We've been vacationing in the state for years and found the property of our dreams at THE perfect location. It's a new hub and less than 5 hours to so many new cities. It'll certainly be a big change for my music career.. but stagnant waters need to move.

I know this music is healing music and it just has to get out there, but the release of this album is gonna have to be real grassroots. 2. While I've joined plenty of bands throughout the years, none have been as big as Killer Diller. What is Killer Diller?? SUPER SONIC SKA STEADY VIA DETROIT. While I told myself to ease up on some of my side projects, I've been working with band member and Abbey Records owner, Eric Abbey for years. Eric is one of the 14+ band members of Killer Diller and I joined as a backup vocalist for a couple recordings.. one thing lead to another.. and well see for yourself... Click The Pic!

3. Do you know the song "Devil With A Blue Dress"? Do you know the drummer?? He's toured with Alice Copper, Dr. John, Bob Seger, and The Romantics. Well his name is Johnny "bee" Badanjek and he made his first solo album. Surprise surprise... this guy who's been hangin out behind the scenes for decades, can write and sing (sound familiar?). Anywho, this past fall I recorded backup vocals on 12 tunes in the "funk bunker" for the Funky D (https://www.funkydrecords.com/) record label. This album is just SOOO Detroit. It has outstanding talent, music history, and RAWKS!!! I can't express how lucky I feel to have been on this album. (Shout out to the other backing singers I got to join ..
